It's Juneteenth!
And we are offering a class for women and men alike who would like to learn how to wrap your hair and some of the stories and traditions that are connected with why it’s great to wrap your hair!
The act of hair wrapping is a beautiful practice for African, Asian, and Middle Eastern cultures that is ready for you to learn about and embrace.
You can bring the material that you already have and love or you can buy from a selection of materials ranging from $5-20.
The teacher of this workshop, Gnosis grew up as a Sikh, therefore she wrapped her hair almost every day into a turban for over 18 years and has since learned various ways of wrapping and taught people how to tie their own style in various parts of the world! We have the amazing Aysia assisting with wraps!
