About this Event

Join us outdoors at The Paddock Community nature park! Come socialise with a group while you get stuck in to some practical tasks!

You will be supervised by one of our leaders from The Conservation Volunteers. All levels welcome! There will be a half hour break with tea and biscuits provided, with a futher 45 minute break for lunch.

You will be helping carry out mainteance tasks around the site such as looking after the wildlfower meadow or removing invasive species.

This is a space for all! We try and make our tasks accessible as possible. If a full day seems to much, drop us an email! Nervous about coming alone? Our staff members are happy to welcome you and get you settled in!

Tasks this time of year often involve - pond management, tree work, planting, woodwork and much more!!

What to bring:

Sturdy footwear, warm/waterproofing clothing and lunch.

Meet outside the 2 x green metal cabins. Address: The Paddock Community Nature Park, Ferry Lane, London, N17 9BS Please note the post code is not very accurate, look for a large red metal fence and large ‘The Paddock’ sign in white letters. Opposite Bream Close.

Under 18s:

All ages can join in the bird survey, the route is a little muddy but buggies are welcome!

If you want to volunteer and are 16-17 years old please ensure you get in touch with us at [email protected], as you will need a completed parent/ guardian consent form to join in. For everyone aged 15 and under they will also need a parent/guardian with them to attend.
