Afslut dagen med en ganske særlig oplevelse, hvor du bliver guidet til at udforske kunstnerduoen J&K’s kunstværker og deres materialer gennem fordybelse og ro.
Midt i efterårets store udstilling 'Parterapi', omsluttet af den bløde værkinstallation Hug Tuck Fold Pack, tager kunstnerduoen J&K / Janne Schäfer og Kristine Agergaard os med på en rejse ind i deres magiske univers.
Undervejs ser vi sammen J&K’s videoværk Mammal Matrix, der udforsker overgange mellem forskellige livsformers livscyklus. Herefter udfører kunstnerduoen en guidet sanselig meditation, hvor publikum inviteres til at sidde eller ligge i installationen. Gennem deres helt særlige materialemeditation vil de udvide vores indre sanseapparat – for at åbne op for materialernes hemmelige liv og historie.
Efter den guidede meditation går vi sammen på opdagelse i udstillingen Parterapi, mens kunstnerduoen udfolder tankerne bag deres snart 30 år lange samarbejde.

Bemærk
Arrangementet finder sted uden for normal åbningstid. Dørene til museet vil være åbne frem til kl. 20.00, hvor det også vil være muligt at besøge garderoben og toiletterne. Kom gerne i god tid, da det ikke vil være muligt at komme ind efter arrangementet starter.
Arrangementet er i tidsrummet 20.00-21.30 med mulighed for at se udstillingens øvrige værker.
Arrangementet vil foregå på engelsk, og der er max 25 deltagere.

Guided meditation and artist talk
By the artist duo J&K / Janne Schäfer and Kristine Agergaard
End the day with a rather special experience, in which you are guided through the artworks and materials of the artist duo J&K, exploring them through immersion and stillness.
In the midst of the autumn’s major exhibition 'Couples Therapy', enveloped by the soft installation Hug Tuck Fold Pack, the artist duo J&K / Janne Schäfer and Kristine Agergaard take us on a journey into their magical universe.
Along the way, we watch J&K’s video work Mammal Matrix together, which explores the transitions between the life cycles of different life forms. The artist duo then leads a guided sensory meditation, in which the audience is invited to sit or lie down within the installation. Through their distinctive material meditation, they will expand our inner sensory apparatus, opening up the secret life and history of materials.
After the guided meditation, we explore the exhibition Couples Therapy together, while the artist duo unfolds the thinking behind their nearly 30-year-long collaboration.

Please note
The event takes place outside normal opening hours. The doors to the museum will be open until 8.00pm, when it will also be possible to visit the cloakroom and toilets. Please arrive in good time, as it will not be possible to enter after the event begins.
The event runs from 8.00–9.30pm, with the opportunity to view the rest of the exhibition’s works.
The event will be held in English, and there is a maximum of 25 participants.
