About this Event
This beautifully restored provincial and national historic site is the birthplace and childhood home of beloved Canadian artist and author Emily Carr. Visit Carr House to learn about Emily Carr and her legacy of inspiration.
Visitors can register in advance for a 45-minute guided tour of the house led by a staff member or volunteer. Visitors are also welcome to drop-in and explore the house at their own pace.
Admission is by donation (suggested $5-10)
There is information at the front door and exhibits in most rooms that share information about Emily Carr and her family. There is also a well-stocked gift shop with all of Emily Carr's books and many options for taking home a bit of Emily Carr art.
Museum Hours: Sept. 1st - Dec. 20th: Thursdays - Saturdays, 10am - 4pm
Visitors are welcome to explore the house, take a tour, or visit our gift shop during these times.
