This practice, guided by Stephanie Hudson opens a sacred space for connection—with your body, your mind, Spirit, and the living Earth. As we amble through the Misty Meadows farm and forest, we begin to soften into the wisdom of the present moment and remember ourselves as part of the greater whole of life.
Unlike a traditional hike, this experience invites you to move with awareness, contemplate and reflect, receive the healing presence of Mother Earth, and offer her your gratitude and respect. We’ll practice a silent seated meditation, then close the experience by sharing reflections and insights from the journey.
No previous meditation or hiking experience is necessary. All humans ages 16 and older are welcome. While we love dogs, we ask that they remain at home. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, as we’ll start promptly at 10:00 AM. The event will take place rain or shine unless dangerous weather conditions require cancellation.
Please bring:
Sunscreen and insect repellent
Comfortable footwear
A jacket or windbreaker and a hat, as the weather requires
A small sitting pad, cushion, or folded towel
Small notebook or journal and pen
