About this Event
This event brings research and lived experiences together to highlight the housing challenges faced by refugee communities and the importance of centring their voices in the development of housing solutions.
The launch will also feature a public exhibition showcasing selected work from Growing Roots: Understanding Community Housing Needs of Refugee Populations in Surrey.
Join the research team and hear directly from lived experience co-researchers as we reflect on the research process, findings, and recommendations.
Whether you work in housing, settlement services, research, planning, or community development, or are interested in more equitable housing approaches, we welcome you to join us for this opportunity to learn, connect, and exchange ideas.
This project was funded by the Real Estate Foundation of BC and is presented in partnership with DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society, MAP BC, BCNHA and SFU's GERO 840 class.
