You're invited!Several members (painters) of the Mantorville Art Guild, Mary Ayshford, Ray Grumney & Jean Ryan, along with area photographer Jan Baker, are exhibiting their work at the Maxon Art Gallery. This is a very unique setting — the gallery is part of Maxon Family Cremation & Life Celebrations located at 1624 37th St NW in Rochester. The art is an extension of providing care for those dealing with loss — being surrounded by beautiful artwork provides a much welcome relief to those dealing with a very difficult time.
Establishing an art gallery within this unique environment was the idea of owner, Colin Maxon, who says the artwork is doing exactly what he had envisioned for his clients. People gather to both grieve & celebrate their loved one, but soon, with coffee cup in hand, they begin to take in the artwork & are lifted by it. All works were selected to provide beauty, inspiration & a feeling of calm & hope.
Come to the Open House on November 15th & experience this very special environment. See for yourself what a perfect combination this is ... it's the Art of Caring.
