About this Event
The night
After a near sold-out run in 2026, Grounds For Comedy x The Alma is back for 2027. Every other Wednesday, we bring comedians from the telly, your favourite podcasts and the Edinburgh Fringe to the Old York Room upstairs.
London life is hectic, so let us take care of you. Come straight from work, grab dinner downstairs, then head up to our own private room and bar to relax. There’s nothing else to do but laugh... it is scientifically proven to be good for you! And you’ll be home at a reasonable hour on a weeknight. Welcome to the sensibly-timed comedy movement 🤓
If you live nearby, we’d love you to become a regular. If you’re coming from further afield, we’re just ten steps from Wandsworth Town station.
Bring your friends, bring your family, come alone. Everyone is welcome.
