Groovulous Glove / Green Situation reunion showApproximately 29 years ago Groovulous Glove and The Green Situation played their first show together in Platteville, WI. The connection was made a few months prior when Ryan Dohse left the Green Situation and Platteville, returned to hometown Middleton, and joined Groovulous Glove to play keyboards. The two bands played dozens of shows together over the years and even spawned a side-project Minglewood led by Ryan with members of both bands. All 3 bands became staples of the Madison jam and festival scene early '00s; even shared the stage with notable acts of the time like the Big Wu, Karl Denson, Keller Williams, Papa Mali, Devon "Dread" Evans (Bob Marley percussion). That all ended when the Glove broke up in '07 and GS/Minglewood drummer Chris Wasmund moved to Switzerland in '08. So after years of planning and coordination we bring you the ultimate reunion of Madison jam bands for one night only. Come see the bands play legendary original songs and likely a 'Dead cover. You will not be disappointed! or maybe you will? Either way, it will be like nothing else you have ever seen in the last 29 years. No cover, FREE SHOW.
