About this Event
This walk is a space to honour your grief in togetherness and gentle movement. Join Jess and Sky in a space of permission, inner/outer listening and communal care. The earth, trees and sky are always holding us. On this walk we’ll practice tuning into their support and share in the simple, powerful act of being witnessed and welcomed.
All loss is welcome- whether personal (endings, wounds, longings, expectations..) or collective (gen 0cide, eco crisis, injustice..)
There’s no “right” way to grieve, just come as you are and we'll take one step at a time. This is an invitation to be with your grief however it wants to be expressed- whether it's numbness, rage or tenderness, wailing, sighing or silence.
You can expect moments of sharing, though our time will be focused more on embodied listening, walking, and prompts (that may include breath, movement and voice) to connect with elements of the forest. All are completely optional- your participation is based on what feels good for you.
May we honour grief and feel our sense of belonging to a whole.
Accessibility Notes
We will be taking side paths on the mountain that may be slightly uneven with roots and rocks. There may be moments of gentle incline.
