GRIEF THERAPY TRAINING | 2-DAY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP | BRISBANEHow do we stay present with grief when there is nothing to fix?
Loss, change, destruction and death are part of being human. Grief may arrive as a powerful, untameable force, a quiet ache, or a tender connection to what, and whom, we love.
This October, join Tracy Santos at Gestalt Therapy Brisbane for a two-day experiential professional development workshop exploring grief-sensitive therapeutic practice.
Designed for counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists and other mental health practitioners, this workshop will explore how we can remain attuned, receptive and responsive to the many ways grief emerges in the lives of our clients and communities.
Across the weekend, we will explore:
• death, dying and bereavement
• ecological grief and sorrow
• existential threat, loss and change
• therapeutic approaches to working with grief
• applications for individual and group practice
The weekend weaves together theory, experiential learning, clinical reflection and practical application, offering an opportunity to deepen both your understanding of grief and your capacity to meet it therapeutically.
