🎷 Gregory Hutchinson - Kind Of Now — 19:30 & 21:30A true star of the international jazz scene, Gregory Hutchinson has been one of the most sought-after drummers since he turned professional in the late 1980s. Having collaborated with the very best — from Ray Brown, Betty Carter and John Scofield to Kurt Rosenwinkel, Joshua Redman and Roy Hargrove — he boasts one of the most impressive CVs in contemporary jazz. Navigating with equal ease through hard-core bebop, modern jazz and hip-hop-infused grooves, he is one of the few musicians on the planet to have achieved this level of excellence, which makes all the difference to the bands he plays with, whether for a single night or for years on end.
Fresh from the release of his tribute album Kind of Now – The Pulse of Miles Davis, he is currently touring Europe with a line-up of the very highest calibre. Bringing together some of the world’s leading jazz figures (Aaron Parks, Seamus Blake) and rising stars (Milena Casado, Jasen Weaver), he is here to present music that embodies the spirit of one of the greatest musicians in history.

Véritable star du jazz mondial, Gregory Hutchinson est l'un des batteurs les plus sollicités depuis ses débuts professionnels à la fin des années 1980. Ayant collaboré avec les plus grands — de Ray Brown, Betty Carter et John Scofield à Kurt Rosenwinkel, Joshua Redman ou Roy Hargrove —, il affiche l'un des CV les plus impressionnants du jazz actuel. Naviguant avec la même aisance dans le bebop pur et dur que dans le jazz moderne et les grooves empreints de hip-hop, il fait partie des rares musiciens de la planète à atteindre ce niveau d’excellence qui fait toute la différence dans les groupes auxquels il participe, que ce soit pour un soir ou pour des années.
Tout juste auréolé de la sortie de son album hommage « Kind of Now - The Pulse of Miles Davis », il tourne actuellement en Europe avec un casting de très haut vol. Mêlant pointures du jazz mondial (Aaron Parks, Seamus Blake) et nouvelles révélations (Milena Casado, Jasen Weaver), il vient présenter cette musique qui respire l’esprit de l'un des plus immenses musiciens de l’histoire.
