ABOUT THE GREEN WINTER GAMES
Get ready, Boston. Just weeks before the world watches the 2026 Winter Olympics, bring your competitive spirit to Green Winterfest where YOU compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in Boston's First Sustainable Winter Games at Boston City Hall Plaza.
Join us on Saturday, December 13, 2025, for an unforgettable celebration featuring 11 team-based Winter Olympics-style challenges including Velcro Snowball Dodgeball, Glow Tug-of-War, Frozen T-Shirt Races, Sled Push Relays, and more. Teams will compete for the title of Green Winter Champions in a festival powered by creativity and renewable energy.
This event is free and open to the public. Spectators can cheer, enjoy the atmosphere, and explore the Sustainability Vendor Village featuring more than 30 clean energy and eco-friendly exhibitors.
