About this Event
Ready to stop guessing and start writing grants with confidence?
This hands-on, 2-hour workshop is for nonprofits, community organizations, and anyone who wants to be prepared when the right funding opportunity comes along. We don’t just talk about grants in theory. We open up a real grant application and work through it together, section by section, so you can see what funders actually look for and how a strong application comes together.
What We’ll Cover
- What “grant ready” really means: the documents, information, and systems you should have in place before you apply
- The grant narrative: how to clearly explain your need, your project, and your impact in a way that connects with reviewers
- The grant budget: how to build a realistic budget, write a budget justification, and make sure your numbers tell the same story as your narrative
- Common mistakes: the errors that get applications rejected, and how to avoid them
- Q&A: bring your questions about your own organization and funding goals
What You’ll Take Home
Every attendee will receive a toolkit of templates and guides to use on your own applications, including resources to help you organize your materials, draft your narrative, and build your budget. You’ll leave with practical tools, not just notes.
