⚔️ IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE — 2026 AUSTRALASIAN CONVOCATION & INVESTITURE ⚔️Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Temple, distinguished guests, friends and supporters,
I am pleased to provide an important update concerning the 2026 Australasian Convocation & Investiture of the Grand Priory of Australia — Ordre du Temple de Jérusalem, to be held on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
Following our continuing preparations for what promises to be a significant gathering of our Order, the venue and commencement time for the Investiture Service have now changed.

🕘 NEW COMMENCEMENT TIME
09:00 hrs — Saturday, 7 November 2026
We are particularly delighted to have the opportunity to gather at Saint Mary’s, whose beautiful historic stone church provides a wonderfully fitting sacred setting for an occasion centred upon Christian faith, chivalry, service and fellowship.
The earlier commencement time will allow us to conduct the Investiture with the dignity and solemnity befitting the occasion while accommodating the wider programme of our Australasian Convocation.
This gathering will bring together Knights, Dames, members of the Order, postulants, visiting dignitaries, representatives of kindred chivalric bodies, clergy, families and friends in Christian fellowship.
The Investiture itself will remain ecumenical and non-denominational in character, reflecting the Christian fraternity of our Order and welcoming our Brothers and Sisters from across the Christian traditions.
We therefore ask everyone who has already received an invitation, saved the date, or made arrangements to attend to please update your diary with the new venue and 09:00 hrs commencement time.
Further information concerning arrival, parking, robing, procession arrangements and the wider Convocation programme will be circulated as preparations are finalised.
