Google Gemini Academy: Educator Roadshow

Join Steve from Google and Jack from Fusion for a hands-on full-day workshop where you’ll learn to use Gemini in your classroom and daily admin, and earn Google AI Educator Series badges along the way.
What to expect
The Google AI Educator Series is standards-aligned AI literacy training built for educators. Instead of working through it alone, you’ll tackle the sessions together, with Steve and Jack guiding you and answering questions as they come up. Each session focuses on one practical Gemini use case, and you earn a badge to recognise your new skills.
What you’ll cover
- Foundational understanding: What generative AI is, how Gemini works, and where it fits in your teaching
- Pedagogical applications: Using Gemini to plan lessons, create resources, support differentiation, and drive meaningful learning
- Administrative applications: Saving time on emails, planning, and everyday admin
- Responsible use: Spotting errors and bias in AI output, and guiding students to use AI well
Who it’s for
Teachers, school leaders, and support staff, from first-time AI users to confident experimenters. No technical background needed.
What to bring
A fully charged laptop and your school Google account. Please check you can access https://educertifications.google/ with your school account before the day. If you can’t, a quick call to your ICT support should get it enabled.

Full-day, hands-on session. Morning tea & lunch provided.
