Award-winning alt-folk outfit Good News Now We Can Eat All The Vampires launch their new single 'Morning Bells' at Mojos on Friday, November 13. This is the band’s first taste of new music since their acclaimed debut album “Everything Is Fine”, which has been recently shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize.Falling outside of that album’s consistent themes and moods that reference the very “Gen-X” traits of self-reliance, pragmatism and independence amidst the chaos of life, “Morning Bells” is a love song, and an ode to the joy that love may bring. Recorded in March of 2026 at Revolver Studios with ex-keyboardist Joe Leach (co-producer), along with Paul Francis Wood (co-producer & mixed) and mastered by the great William Bowden of King Willy Sound
Good News Now We Can Eat All The Vampires in its current form is a six-piece group of multi-instrumentalists, led by Paul Francis Wood - a seasoned songwriter, producer, and a central figure in the Western Australian independent music scene for over three decades. Formerly the frontman of influential Boorloo/Perth bands Red Jezebel and The Ghost Hotel, and a career of work as a dedicated producer and collaborator to likeminded WA artists.
Support comes from longtime mates Split Seconds and Gelicity Froom.
