About this Event
Join us for the Good Ground Exchange - Midlands, a curated evening bringing together chefs, farmers, and food entrepreneurs from across the Upstate. Held at Senate's End which is a chef-driven event venue in Columbia, South Carolina, known for its authentic beautiful river front loaction, locally grown inspired menus and welcoming atmosphere that blends Southern hospitality with a unique setting.
From 5–7 PM on Octoiber 19, guests will enjoy local food, beer, and wine while connecting with others who are shaping our regional food system. Whether you grow it, cook it, create it, or simply care about where your food comes from, this is an opportunity to build relationships, share stories, and learn more about the people behind the plate.
The evening will also feature the Good Ground Grower of the Year and Good Ground Chef of the Year awards for the Midlands region. We’ll recognize finalists in each category, celebrating farmers for their commitment to growing high-quality specialty crops for the restaurant community, and chefs for their dedication to sourcing locally and supporting regional agriculture.
Come to connect, come to learn, and come to celebrate the people cultivating a stronger, more vibrant local food system.
