Please join us on October 30th as we welcome GONG SLAYER to Lobe Studio for the Vancouver stop of their tour.
The project of Albuquerque-based drummer and percussionist Drew Gowran, Gong Slayer explores ritual drone, improvisation, and “sound healing” through immersive percussion and resonant low frequencies. Moving between meditative stillness and apocalyptic intensity, the performance unfolds as a 60-minute sonic ritual—at times profoundly blissful, at others intensely ominous.
