About this Event
Friday night just got a whole lot fluffier.
Welcome to Golden Retriever Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto, where a room full of golden, wiggly, perpetually-happy puppies is your reward for making it to the end of the week. These are not calm puppies. They are enthusiastic, they are soft, and at least one of them will try to sit on your head during warrior pose.
Golden Retrievers are famously social and genuinely delighted by people. They will find you, they will lean on you, and they will look at you like you are the best thing that has ever happened to them. It is very hard to worry about your inbox when that is happening.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga
- 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time
- 5 minutes of sharing circle
Why people keep coming back
Puppy yoga in Toronto does something a regular yoga class cannot. A puppy wanders over, settles against your leg, and your nervous system just... exhales. Friday evenings can carry the full weight of the week, and this is a genuinely good way to set that weight down before the weekend starts.
A note on Golden Retriever puppies
Goldens are bred to be gentle, people-oriented, and enthusiastic about absolutely everything. They adapt quickly to new environments and tend to treat strangers like old friends within about thirty seconds. Expect a lot of tail wagging, a lot of soft fur, and a level of affection that borders on overwhelming in the best possible way.
Families and kids
This class is family-friendly. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the puppies with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Just show up, get comfortable, and let a Golden Retriever puppy remind you that Friday night is actually pretty great.
