Anyone who’s gotten excited for big group bike rides after seeing clips of Dom Whiting in Norwich at the weekend should pop the Glow Ride in their diary. Norwich’s Glow Ride will be its own vibe, watching the sun set with illuminated bikes on mass ambling through the city. Our guess is it will be smaller than Sunday, but genuinely who knows. Maybe people will have caught the mass ride bug and will be counting the days until 22nd October. If you have never ridden in a large group that creates a traffic free environment then it comes highly recommended! We wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to experience this feeling and so we’re going to offer a Dr Bike/Bike Kitchen just before the Glow Ride starts on Thursday 22nd October. It’ll be an opportunity to get your bike fixed so it’s ready for a 45 minute roll through the city, and it will also be an opportunity to get your illuminations and lights attached and checked by a mechanic to ensure they’re safe.
We’re going to pop up behind St Saviours Church next to St Saviours Lane at 3.30pm on Thursday 22nd October and then we can ride as a group to the start at City Hall at 6pm. We’re really excited to be a part of this years Glow Ride and particularly excited that the after party is at St Saviours Yard. See on 22nd for some pedal powered fun 💡🚲♻️💚🌍
