Join The Gettysburg Choral Society for a beautiful celebration of the Christmas season featuring choral music, organ, brass, and more!
Our “Gloria in excelsis Deo” concerts will feature highlights from a festive and varied program of Christmas favorites and beautiful choral works, with music by such renowned composers and arrangers as John Rutter, Mark Hayes, Lloyd Larson, Mark Kellner, Larry Shackley, Eugene Butler, Robert Shaw and Alice Parker, and Adolphe Adam.
✨ 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗘 ✨
The centerpiece of our concerts will be the 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗘 of “𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮,” a special commissioned composition by acclaimed composer 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗛𝗮𝘆𝗲𝘀, written especially for The Gettysburg Choral Society for 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗿, 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻.
We are thrilled to bring this brand-new work to life for the very first time and to share this special musical moment with our audience!
The program will feature a selection of Christmas and seasonal favorites, with music spanning a variety of styles and traditions.
