We will meet in the car park of Benmore Gardens for a 1030am start. We head across to the old road and follow this to the junction with the main road where we will cross to Uig Hall and over the bridge. We will then carry on along the forest track towards Glen Massan and head up the track towards Corasik. We will then turn off this path and head along the path at the side of the river which will eventually bring us to the back of the plantation. Following this path will bring us out at the main road. We can head down to the river either through the field or forest and follow the river path back to the main road and then head back to Benmore along Puddle Lane.Although this route is fairly flat, the terrain will be very uneven in places and quite likely damp underfoot so please wear appropriate footwear. Warm, waterproof clothing will be required too.
The route is around 4.6 miles and should take just under 2 hours.
The bus leaves from town around 945 and arrives at Benmore around 1010.
