6-Hour Durational Show ~ 9 multi-disciplinary artists. 9 pieces evolve across an afternoon to explore Crip Time. ONE DAY ONLY.
About this Event

Don't miss this immersive multidisciplinary durational show, a one-day-only experience evolving across six hours, exploring Crip Time.

Crip Time—a concept coined by Alison Kafer—refers to the ways time passes in unique ways for disabled folks.

Nine Salt Lake City-connected artists will each debut a creative work that evolves throughout six hours, exploring Crip Time through different perspectives.

Featured Artists:

  • Azul Bolivar
  • Kit Cactus
  • Lewis Figun Westbrook
  • Rae Luebbert
  • Kym McDaniel
  • Sarah May
  • Mars Mooney
  • Lissa Reed
  • Melissa Salguero

During the performance, attendees are invited to come and go as you please. There will be chairs and couches available for you to take a seat and enjoy the works. You might choose:

  • To come for a random period of time and stay as long as you want.
  • To come for a little bit, leave and then return to see how the works have evolved.
  • Stay for several hours to experience the performance alongside the artists.
