In a month dominated by buying, scrolling, wish lists, next-day delivery, and the pressure to consume, GIVE PRESENCE is an invitation to slow down and think differently about what we give, to ourselves, to each other, and to the things we choose to spend our time on.
Our fourth Studio 404 show celebrates attention, generosity, human connection, and thoughtful exchange through art and creativity.
We’re looking at the many forms giving can take: time, care, knowledge, creativity, memory, ritual, service, love, objects made by hand, and simply being fully present with another person.
Expect another giant exhibition of emerging and established artists, live art, free creative workshops, food, drinks, and opportunities to make rather than simply consume.
And for the first time, we’re collaborating with The Auction Collective, featuring a live auction that night, giving you the opportunity to discover work you love, bid on it in the room, and directly support our free programming for 2027.
Because maybe the answer to more stuff isn't no gifts at all. Maybe it's choosing things with a story. Buying something somebody actually made. Giving your time. Giving your attention. Showing up when you say you will.
This December, don't just give presents. GIVE PRESENCE.
