GitHub Copilot is becoming an increasingly powerful part of everyday software development. It can write code, help plan work, run agents, and support complex development tasks, but getting real value from it depends on how we use it.In this meetup, we’ll explore how to use GitHub Copilot effectively in practice. We’ll look at how to give Copilot the right context, choose the right tools and models, and create prompts that lead to better and more relevant results.
We’ll also explore practical approaches to prompts, skills, agents, and context management, with a particular focus on working smarter and avoiding unnecessary token consumption. The goal is simple: get more useful results from GitHub Copilot while keeping the interaction efficient.
