About the film:

Cookie Queens is a 2026 American documentary directed and produced by Alysa Nahmias, following four young Girl Scout cookie sellers as they compete to be top sellers during the annual Girl Scout Cookie season.

The film captures the competitive, and often high-pressure world of Girl Scout cookie sales, an $800 million business in just six weeks. It focuses on four girls from different backgrounds — Olive from Charlotte; Shannon Elizabeth from El Paso; Nikki from Chino; and Ara from San Diego — each with their own goals and motivations. The story blends their personal ambitions with the tradition of cookie selling, exploring themes of ambition, sisterhood, entrepreneurship, and the challenges of balancing youthful dreams with adult expectations.

In short, Cookie Queens is both a celebration of a sweet American tradition and a coming-of-age story about four girls navigating the pressures and rewards of selling cookies — and themselves — in the process.
