A Girls’ Night Out at 8 Cats CincinnatiThere’s a little magic in the air this October at 8 Cats Cincinnati. Gather your favorite witches for a girls’ night out inspired by Practical Magic—where flickering candlelight, black cats, cozy fall vibes, and a touch of witchy mischief take over our historic 1885 Victorian mansion.
As evening falls, our first floor transforms into an enchanting candlelit escape made for lingering over tea with your favorite people. Think black cats, apothecary bottles, autumn florals, candlelight, and just enough mystery to make you wonder whether this old house might actually be haunted.
Your evening begins in our Apothecary—formerly known as the Lounge—where you’ll be welcomed with a tiny teacup and a sample of one of our house-curated “potions.” From there, you’ll be seated for the remainder of your Candlelight Tea experience.
Each guest will enjoy a traditional three-tiered tray filled with Halloween- and black-cat-inspired sweets and savory bites, along with unlimited pours from our collection of house-curated teas—one inspired by each of our resident cats. Warm, fluffy scones will arrive straight from the oven, and because this is our Candlelight Tea, your evening will also include soup and salad for a more leisurely nighttime experience.
And, of course, no evening of Practical Magic would be complete without a few cats.
Our resident kitties may greet you at the door, wander through the rooms, curl up nearby, or graciously allow you the honor of offering them a treat from the treat jar. Keep an especially close eye out for our resident black cats—on this particular evening, one can never be entirely certain what they know.
Come dressed in witchy black, cozy fall layers, or your favorite Practical Magic-inspired look. Bring your girlfriends, sisters, mothers, daughters, or favorite coven and settle in for an evening of candlelight, conversation, tea, and a little black-cat magic.
After all, there are some nights when a cup of tea simply isn’t enough. Sometimes you need a potion. 🖤🐈⬛✨
