About Our Guest Artist
Singer, actress, songwriter and recording artist, Lisa Fishman, has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe - starring in Off-Broadway and Regional Musical Theater - including playing the role of Golde last year in The Renaissance Theatre’s production of “Fiddler on the Roof!” Lisa also performs her own original music, sings and records with Klezmer bands (aka: Eastern European Jewish music sung in Yiddish) - including Chicago's renowned Maxwell Street Klezmer Band, entertains children on television, works as a voiceover actress, and sings everything from Broadway, light opera, cabaret and jazz to pop, rock, folk, blues and heavy metal!
