Ghostbar first opened in 1999 and became one of the most famous lounges in Las Vegas. Palms reimagined it after a long-awaited return as an elevated ultra-lounge: plush seating, a glowing bar, resident DJs spinning house and Top 40, and an open-air 55th-floor patio hanging over the city with the Strip skyline in every direction.

It is the move for a group that wants a great room and a real conversation without the wall-to-wall crush of a megaclub. It also works as a first stop: drinks with the view at 9pm, then out to a bigger club.

Upscale and fashionable. Ladies: a dress with heels, or trendy jeans dressed up. Guys: a collared shirt with nice pants or trendy jeans and clean shoes. No athletic wear, oversized bags, backpacks or professional cameras.

Guest list entry is first come, first served. Arrive with your entire group, IDs out, inside the free window. Groups that arrive late, split up or break the dress code can be turned away at the door, so treat the window as a hard start. On holidays and marquee headliner nights the list can close early or carry a reduced cover; your confirmation text will say so.

Ghostbar is at Palms Casino Resort, 4321 W Flamingo Rd, about 1 mile west of the Strip across I-15. Rideshare is the easiest way in; it is roughly 5 to 10 minutes from Caesars Palace or the Bellagio. The Rio is next door. Inside Palms, follow signs to the Ghostbar elevators.
