About this Event
Build confidence with every brushstroke.
Curious about watercolor but not sure where to begin?
Getting Started with Watercolor is a beginner-friendly workshop that introduces the foundations of watercolor through exploration, guided practice, and experimentation. Instead of focusing on creating one finished painting, you'll build the core skills that make watercolor approachable and enjoyable.
Together we'll explore:
- Water control
- Brush techniques
- Color mixing
- Layering and transparency
- How paper affects your painting
You'll spend the evening practicing through a series of simple exercises while learning how watercolor behaves and discovering techniques you can continue using long after class.
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with practice pieces, new skills, and the confidence to continue exploring watercolor on your own.
