- The benefits of breastfeeding for both parent and infant.
- Common breastfeeding positions and techniques for a proper latch.
- Feeding cues and signs of effective milk transfer.
- When and how to seek additional breastfeeding support.
- How to understand milk supply, pumping basics, and safe milk storage.
NYC DOHMH Family Wellness Suite: A safe, welcoming and supportive space for women and their families to connect to community resources and city agency services for support. Visitors can get help avoiding eviction, enrolling in health insurance and finding a job.
The provides health and wellness services, programs and activities in the Bronx as part of New York City’s effort to promote health equity and reduce health disparities. We also have clinical partners who provide primary care services.
