Turning Pain Into Punchlines: A Night of Humor, Healing, and Hope, is a comedy-based wellness event bringing women together for an evening of storytelling, laughter, and community.The program is a 2025 grant recipient from the NYC Connect organization that saw the message and how enriching this would be. This showcase features a curated hybrid storytelling and standup format followed by a moderated panel with guest Laura Michelle Canty-Samuels allowing us to create space for understand our process in healing through humor.
“Turning Pain Into Punchlines” was developed by comedian, producer, and founder Joanna M. Briley, and she will be the host.
