About this Event
German Beginner Conversation is designed for students who have completed German Level 2 at SJLC, or who already have a basic understanding of the language and feel comfortable with speaking in the Present Tense. The primary focus will be to practice and improve speaking, listening and conversational skills, utilizing the grammar points taught in Levels 1 and 2, which includes but is not limited to the following:
Alphabet & pronunciation
Numbers (up to 1,000)
Formal and casual introductions
Pronouns and articles
Common verbs
Negation
Describing things in German
German grammar (articles, direct objects, irregular verbs, temporal prepositions)
Improving conversational skills
Communication for work and daily life
Expressing abilities
Discussions on a variety of topics
Prerequisite: German Level 2 or equivalent proficiency.
7-week Beginner Conversation German course at San Jose Learning Center.
Schedule: Tuesdays, 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM PT, October 6, 2026 – November 17, 2026 (7 weeks, 1.5 hours per week)
