This class is for everybody. For wheelchair users to those with chronic illness, those recovering from injury to those seeking an hour of mindful practice.
This class is chair based and will involve seated yoga-based poses. You can also expect gentle breath work and guided meditations.
Carers/PA’s welcome.
Week 1: Grounding
With the theme of grounding, we’ll discuss and use resources we have available to connect with a greater sense of groundedness and stability and feel into what that means for us.
Week 2: The Breath
The breath is such an important part of our yoga practice. This week, we’ll have the opportunity to cultivate a deeper connection with our own breathing patterns and become curious about how the breath moves through our practice.
Week 3: Mindfulness in Me
We’ll bring mindfulness further into our practice, perhaps developing an existing mindfulness practice or simply becoming more present and aware of ourselves in the moment.
Week 4: A Joyful Practice
For our final week, we’ll bring together all the components we’ve explored, with the theme of joy. We’ll create a practice that invites us to connect with what feels uplifting, nourishing and joyful.
