Drawing from biblical narratives, this session invites participants to direct scenes rooted in tension, hesitation, and inner conflict - focusing on what is felt, not said.
In this interactive session, you’ll learn to “see like a director” by focusing on one of the most powerful moments in storytelling: the moment before a decision. Using simple tools like framing, emotion, and intention, you’ll explore how hesitation, tension, and internal conflict can shape meaning on screen.
Through guided exercises, you’ll create and direct your own short scene centred on a character facing a call. No experience needed, just curiosity.
Come ready to explore, experiment, and discuss the weight of small choices and the stories hidden in moments of uncertainty.
About GENESIS CREATIVE LABS

Instead of focusing on equipment or industry rules, this series invites participants to engage with storytelling through themes such as faith, storytelling, community and material.
