America's Bob Morris: The legacies of Minimalism as an artistic movement are fraught. Starting from Aria Dean's lecture America's Bob Morris this one day class will explore the works and legacies of the artist Robert Morris as an exemplar of the misunderstandings of that "movement" and the actual promiscuity of historical artistic practices. Following this overview we will look at the work of Dean as well as an example of someone working within and beyond this historical
