About this Event
One of the ways Sankofa Roots promotes access for Black, Indigenous & Queer people is through our free gear-lending program, ensuring no one is denied life-saving knowledge due to economic barriers.
We provide participants with free equipment during training, including tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, head lamps, and hygiene products.
Offering high-quality equipment takes time, energy, and resources, so we're inviting our community to participate by donating unused or lightly-used camping equipment.
During the gear drive drop-off window, we'll be providing light herbal refreshments. Registration isn't required.
If you don't have any equipment to donate at this time, you're always welcome to contribute monetary resources through a donation on this site or by becoming a sustained donor .
