We're heading into fall and it's time for bulb and clove planting!
Join us to learn all about planting and harvesting garlic. And, once you've harvested it, what you can do with it. Diana Pelletier, HPGC President, will include garlic-infused recipes for spicing up mealtime. Everyone will receive a German Red bulb of garlic to separate into cloves which can be planted or cooked with.
A business meeting and “white elephant” raffle to benefit the club will follow the program. Please feel free to bring an item donation, garden-related or not, for the raffle.
This program is part of the "Highland Park Garden Club Presents..." , a series of monthly programs designed to entertain and educate about gardening-related topics. Programs are free to HPGC members. Nonmembers are welcome to attend with an donation through Eventbrite ($10 suggested unless noted otherwise). All are welcome to join the club. Annual dues are $20.
