Opus 327 is proud to present Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem in honor of All Souls’ Day and in remembrance of all who have departed this life. Fauré set out to write a requiem without fear, and the result is music of extraordinary tenderness, with the gentle Pie Jesu and the luminous In Paradisum among the most loved pages in all of choral music. Hear it sung by the Choir of St. Luke’s with the Bella Voce Sinfonia and the magnificent, century-old Opus 327 organ, along with solo organ works on the program.
