About this Event
Join us in a spiral dance with all our ancestors and mighty dead. We dance to awaken our fierce powers, bring forth justice, and protect life for generations to come.. All paths welcome!
The dance will be accesible to people of all physical abilities, including those who use mobility aids.
Orientation and discussion begin at 5:30. We will teach the dance and begin the ritual at 6:00 p.m. No entry after 6:00 p.m.; no exceptions. From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we'll share a potluck dinner and Pagan fellowship. Bring a dish if you can. However, all are truly welcome regardless of ability to contribute - we stand in solidarity with the whole community.
On that note, monetary donations are welcome but not required. They will go to cover the costs of the ritual and main courses. Any surplus donations will be passed to the Chicago Food Bank.
If you're interested in volunteering for the event, please DM the organizers. We need singers, musicians, drummers, people to take speaking roles, people to help with setup and tear down, and people with first aid training.
We hope to see you there!
