About this Event
Before midterms, The Forum is bringing Black student leaders from across the state together for a night of connection and civic imagination.
This is not a panel. Not a lecture. Not a stiff networking event.
This is a room for Black brilliance in motion.
Pull up as you are. Meet other student leaders, trade stories, share what’s happening on your campus, and build with people who are also thinking beyond survival.
As one of the only Black-led think-and-do tanks in Minnesota, The Forum works at the intersection of policy, culture, research, organizing, and Black civic power. That includes the Black Agenda for Change, a shared vision for what our communities need, deserve, and are ready to build. We know that future is already alive in your org meetings, your campus events, your art, your advocacy, and your refusal to accept small futures.
You’ll learn more about The Forum and the Black Agenda for Change, but more than anything, we want to know you: what you’re building, what you’re carrying, and where you’re ready to go.
The future has been looking for a room.
We are gathering it here.
