We’re excited to invite you to an unforgettable evening dedicated to making a difference for the animals in our community! This year’s Purrpose is especially meaningful. We’re raising funds to renovate and modernize our adoption kennels, which have remained largely unchanged since our shelter opened in 1991. As the largest no-K*ll municipal shelter in Utah, Salt Lake County Animal Services has grown tremendously, and it’s time for our adoption spaces to reflect the level of care and comfort we strive to provide for every animal.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
• Cocktails, mocktails, and a delicious dinner
• Casino-style gaming and entertainment
• Adoptable pets and inspiring stories
• Exciting raffle opportunities
• A silent auction featuring amazing items and experiences
• Opportunities to make a direct impact on our shelter pets
Your participation means more than a fun night out. Every dollar raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and auction purchases will support the renovation of our adoption kennels, helping create safer, more comfortable spaces for shelter pets and a better experience for adopters.
Together, we can give our kennels a much-needed update and help ensure our facility reflects the lifesaving work happening within its walls.
A huge thank-you to our sponsors, donors, and supporters who make this work possible!
