About this Event
Having a strong mission is important—but funders and institutional partners also need to understand what you do, why it matters, what you are prepared to deliver, and how they can support the work.
Funding-Ready, Partnership-Ready is a practical, 90-minute working intensive for mission-driven founders, nonprofit leaders, social entrepreneurs, and community-based organizations.
Led by Keisha J. Reed, this is not a passive presentation. You’ll assess your current readiness, clarify your case for support, strengthen your partnership offer, identify important gaps, and create a focused plan for moving forward.
During the Lab, you will:
- Define what funding and partnership readiness means for your organization.
- Clarify your problem, program, audience, outcomes, and funding need.
- Strengthen how you present your organization to potential partners.
- Identify gaps in your budget, evidence, capacity, systems, or materials.
- Select three priority actions for the next 90 days.
You will leave with:
- A Funding and Partnership Readiness Assessment
- A clearer case for funding and collaboration
- A draft Partnership Opportunity Statement
- A readiness checklist
- A personalized 90-day action plan

This Lab is designed for:
- Mission-driven business owners
- Nonprofit and community organization leaders
- Social entrepreneurs

- Founders preparing to pursue grants, sponsorships, or institutional partnerships
You do not need to have a current grant application or partnership proposal. Bring an existing program, project, organization, or community initiative that you want to position for support.
Space is intentionally limited to 20 participants to support meaningful discussion and guided work.
