🔬 Fundamentals in Haematology Education Course 2026
Join us for an engaging in-person course at St James’s Hospital, Dublin, designed for nurses and allied health professionals who want to build or strengthen their knowledge of haematology.
This 4-day introductory programme provides a comprehensive foundation in both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions, combining theory with practical clinical insight.
📚 What the course covers
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- Haematopoiesis and core haematological processes
- Haematological malignancies including leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma
- Pathophysiology, treatment approaches, and patient management
- Nursing care and supportive interventions

- Stem cell transplantation
- CAR-T cell therapy
- Adolescents & Young Adults (AYA)
- Clinical trials
- Inherited bleeding disorders

🎯 Learning outcomes
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- Develop a deeper understanding of haematopoiesis
