About this Event
The conference will bring together scholars, cultural experts, and analysts to explore the legacy of humanist thought associated with Yunus Emre and its impact on the development of intellectual and enlightenment traditions in Azerbaijan and across the Turkic world.
Discussions will focus on cultural continuity, identity formation, and transregional intellectual connections shaping contemporary perspectives.

The programme features a series of 15-minute presentations, followed by a panel discussion.
Special Screening
Following the conference, a biographical film directed by Zaur Qasimli will be screened, which focuses on the life and legacy of prominent Azerbaijani philanthropist Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, founder of the first high school for girls in the Islamic world, amongst many other achievements.
