How do you stay connected with your teenager when they seem to be pulling away?As teenagers grow, their need for independence naturally increases. But for parents, that change can sometimes feel like distance.
Conversations may become shorter. Boundaries may lead to arguments. Attempts to help can be met with “I know,” “leave me alone,” or silence.
Yet our teenagers still need connection—even when the way they seek it looks different.
💜 From Conflict to Connection: Staying Connected with Your Teen is a 6-week, in-person parenting group designed to help parents develop practical strategies to:
• Communicate so their teen feels heard and understood
• Respond differently when conversations begin to escalate
• Set healthy and respectful boundaries
• Support independence without losing connection
• Strengthen trust and repair after conflict
You don’t need a conflict-free relationship with your teenager. The goal is to build a relationship strong enough to move through conflict and find your way back to connection.
