About this Event
The Latine Circle of Forsyth County warmly invites you to join us for From Communities to Classrooms, Part 2: Latine Experiences in Forsyth Schools on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.
This gathering will bring together community leaders, educators, advocates, donors, and community members for a meaningful conversation about the experiences and needs of Latine students and families in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
The program will feature analysis from Camino Research Institute exploring demographic trends within the local Latine population and the experiences and academic outcomes of students in schools with significant Latine populations. We will also hear from Latine-led organizations working directly with students and families and learn more about opportunities to support their work.
Our goal is to create space for connection, learning, and collaboration as we consider how our community can better support Latine students and families.
Lunch is provided.
11:30 am - registration & connecting with family-serving organizations
12 pm - lunch & presentation from Camino Research Institute & Padres En Acción
