About this event
You’ve been handed a project. You know what needs to happen, but figuring out how to get there, who needs to be involved and how to keep the work moving can be the hardest part.
Healthcare projects are uniquely complex. Competing priorities, limited capacity, multiple stakeholders, changing expectations and the realities of day-to-day operations can quickly turn a good idea into a difficult project to implement.
From Chaos to Clarity is a practical, full-day workshop designed for people responsible for leading or contributing to projects in healthcare.
This is not a traditional project management course. It is built around practical tools, templates and lessons learned from nearly two decades of planning, leading and implementing projects inside healthcare organizations. with a focus on what actually helps teams get the work done.
What you’ll learn
Through real healthcare examples, practical exercises and hands-on tools, we’ll explore how to:
- Get clear on the problem, scope and desired outcomes
- Build a practical project charter and implementation plan
- Identify and engage the right stakeholders
- Build and lead effective working groups
- Manage timelines, actions, risks and competing priorities
- Run meetings that move the work forward
- Communicate progress, challenges and decisions effectively
- Plan for implementation and long-term sustainability
The workshop reflects the realities of healthcare - interdisciplinary teams, operational pressures, complex stakeholder relationships, regulation, limited resources and change fatigue.
Bring a project. Leave with a plan.
If you have a current or upcoming project, bring it. Throughout the day, you’ll have opportunities to apply what you're learning directly to your own work.
You’ll also leave with a workbook and practical templates and tools that you can adapt and use back in your organization.
Who should attend?
Healthcare leaders, managers, clinical and operational leaders, project and program leads, quality and improvement professionals, educators, administrators, and anyone who has been handed a project without necessarily having the training to run it.
No formal project management training is required.
“I’ve had project management training before, but this one stands out significantly to me.”
