Join us at Oakville Galleries for Last Leaves, an intermediate reduction printmaking course that explores the stark, atmospheric beauty of late fall. This three-session program invites participants to learn the reduction method by capturing the textures of November’s final foliage.Participants will dive into the technicalities of the process, emphasizing strategic planning and registration printing. The course focuses on carving in stages, making intentional decisions, and breaking designs into multiple layers as the block is gradually transformed.
By the end of the course, participants will have produced a limited-edition series of multi-layered prints that reflect the quiet transition of the season.
